Could not Bind with Frsky Receiver
The firmware below is only for remotes which could not binding with Frsky D16 FCC/D16 LBT receivers (like Frsky XM+) or SPI Frsky D8/D16 receiver (like integrated SPI Frsky in 1S AIO FC boad).
Please make sure the radio transmitter is in the correct protocol you want to binding according to the Switching Protocol chapter in the manual.
In our testing, only quanlity limited remote control production on 2020 Dec 22th-Jan 4th will occur this issue. Applicable to product barcode is Dec22th-Jan 4th ( L22-L31/A1-A4, A stands for Jan, B stands for Feb, and so on).
If the remote does not have any binding problems, DO NOT update this firmware.

Hello, i have the A6 Batch of the Betafpv Radiolite 2 SE and I updated to the Mode2_2021_1_18 but i still cant bind a XM+ with 2.1 LBT on it.The Receiver blinks 2 times red, so its the D16 LBT. Please sent some Help!
I bought this Betaflight LiteRadio 2 SE controller. It would not bind to the receiver (Jumper R1+, nor the FrSky XM+). I decided to update firmware using these instructions above. The update firmware was successful, NOW THE CONTROLLER DOES NOT POWER ON. Same as some of the issues submitted above.
PLEASE PROVIDE PROPER FIRMWARE!!!!
hi everybody,
My controller is now softbrick thanks to this ***** tutorial.
I was not able to bind with eu-LBT. I was happy to see a solution with this tutorial.
After the firmware upload, i'm now not able to power on my controller. It's totally softbrick. I can only power on in setup mode. Trying to contact the support but they are totally incompetent and answer like im totally silly and pretend that i "dont press the bind button" to bind.... Tsssss They dont want to refund or send a new controller...
BetaFPV it was my last order.
I am running windows 10 trying to update the firmware after installing incorrect firmware via OpenTX. I have installed "VCP_V1.5.0_Setup_W8_x64_64bits.exe" but these are my only ports available.
When I click "Write to TX" nothing happens.
It does not fail or go to 100% Please help. I was able to bind before messing with firmware.
I have a Lite Radio 2 SE from the starter kit and it's not binding with the Beta65s Lite included in the kit. It's over TWENTY DAYS that I'm trying to get technical support or a replacement but no one is helping out, what is going on at BetaFPV? At this point I feel scammed.
Hi,
You should be more clear about the firmware updates for the various versions of the Literadio 2 SE on the market.
From the way you explain it seems that there are multiple hardware revisions of the radio, but it is not clear if it is better to update or not.
For example, I have one produced in February 2021, I can no longer bind it in frsky lbt, it works only in frsky fcc, should I update it or not?
@Igor
Hi, the link has been updayed. Please check.
Seem to have this problem but can't update firmware as links to firmware are not working!
What about me that I have a B version (February)? No firmware?? Softbrick forever???
why is there no files to download ???? i now have a $80 paperweight not happy at all
@Bubba

Hi guys,
Hello, I'm in the same bad situation.
Has I had problem in binding with Frsky receiver, I tried to upload new firmware but now MY RADIO WON'T TURN IT ON AGAIN...
any solution?
thank's
I have A22 model and can't change protocol. It also doesn't indicate selected protocol by number of flashes, so I cant bind it to my drone. I tried flashing every single one of the provided firmwares and none of them works! How can I fix this?
Fixed !! if your controller is softbrick download the futuba version on the google drive.
it's work for me
I'm having a problem with connecing it up to the simulator. Instructions say if you're not having binding problems don't Flash it currently I'm not having binding problems but I can't get any of my devices to recognize it when I plug the remote in.. So I was wondering what I should do also the instructions that you have are for Windows only and you need to let us know if we have a chromebook or what not is there anything different we have to do? Ty
I have the Frsky model A26, and fly in Mode 2. When I bind it with my drone, it's like the throttle and elevation are reversed. I tried following your links above, but they take me to this random looking folder. None of the contents mention the Literadio2SE.exe, as instructed.
What firmware do I need? I don't have "advanced kit" or "starter kit" I just have the radio itself and need "american" (left throttle) version of firmware. I want to bind this to a Flywoo Firefly Baby ELRS quad but how???
DON'T UPDATE THE FIRMWARE!!!!!!!!!
Like many people here I've also updade the firmware and now the radio is not turning on.
Has anyone found a way to turn it on after softbricking?
Fixed!!!
For those that updated the firmware and the radio is not turning on I've found the solutio.
Please follow this instruction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fa6TkXN0IM
In firmware choose the option: LiteRadio_2_SE_V2_CC2500 v1.0.0
Good luck!!
I bought the Cetus FPV kit end it appears that the kit ships with a transmitter that is automatically set to mode 2. I prefer to fly in mode 1, I followed the online video posted by Beta FPV on how to replace the gimbals and I have swapped the location of the throttle and directions stick. It appears though, that when flying my drone the controls are still laid out for mode 2. Is there any way to change the firmware on the TX to support mode 1 without bricking my TX?
Anyone who decides to update, don't do it if everything is working. Otherwise you may get a remote that does not even switch on
Ok I'm going through your instructions to flash my radio but there's no ".bin" file to load into the emulator anywhere in the folder you give us to download at the bottom of the article.
Hi,
MY RADIO WON'T TURN IT ON
I upload new firmware in radio: LiteRadio 2 SE (версия Bayang).
Anybody now solution how do backgrad rollback firmframe?
Hi all, I managed to get out of the softbrick situation. I found out through experimentation, that in my case the position of the switches made a difference somehow. I bricked it by flashing it with an older firmware version. Turning all switches in the DOWN position at least allowed the radio to get back into the bootloader (pressing setup while starting).
Another thing that I had to do was to flash it using Beta Configurator v1.1.1-RC on MAC. I could not for the love of god get this to work on Windows. Then I updated it with the correct firmware version (sadly bought the frsky version, but there you are) and it came back alive.
Now all that remains is the problem with the shaking/erratic throttle gimbal.
