Update:
- The VRX now supports fixed 720P output via the HDMI port, enabling compatibility with early low-resolution Fatshark FPV goggles (such as Dominator HD3/V3, etc.).
Note:

For devices running firmware in the v1.0.x or v2.0.x series, please rename the firmware file after downloading it to include the specific ground unit model name; otherwise, the SD card upgrade process will not recognize the file. Please refer to the examples below for the correct naming format.

VRX should be renamed to: P1_GND_VRX_v2.1.3_20260825_7bad614.img - For devices running firmware in the v2.1.x series, no renaming of the firmware file is required when performing an upgrade.
Please confirm whether the device is beta test version or the official version.
Official Version P1 VRX Nano Products
The factory version is V2.1.4. If connecting to Dominator HD3/V3 goggles results in no image output, you need to switch the HDMI output resolution to support 720P resolution goggles.
Switching Method:
- While the device is outputting an image normally, press and hold the 5D button down and the Return button on the receiver simultaneously. Hold for more than 5 seconds and then release. Wait for the device to automatically restart and switch the resolution.
- The monitor will briefly go black and then restart; this indicates the resolution switch is complete.
- Repeat the above operation to cycle between the two video output resolutions: 1080P and 720P.
BETA TEST Version P1 VRX Nano Products
The factory version is V2.0.8. Before upgrading the firmware, 720P image output is not supported; therefore, there is no image output on the Dominator HD3/V3 goggles. Users must prepare a Mini HDMI to HDMI cable, connect the device to a 1080P display, and ensure the device outputs an image normally. Then, follow the methods below to upgrade the firmware.
Firmware Upgrade Method:
- Copy the firmware to an SD card, and insert the SD card into the ground station device.
- Click Settings -> System -> System Upgrade -> Start Upgrade to begin the upgrade.
- After a successful upgrade, restart the device.
Notes:
- Ensure you follow the steps to upgrade the firmware in order; otherwise, it may cause the upgrade to fail.
- The entire upgrade process will take some time; please be patient and wait for the firmware upgrade to complete.
- Before upgrading the firmware, please ensure the device has sufficient battery power.
- Do not disconnect power during the upgrade process.
- After the firmware upgrade, the setting parameters will be reset. Please reconfigure the settings after the upgrade is complete.
- If you wish to upgrade only the air unit or only the ground station, simply insert the corresponding firmware individually.
After upgrading, the P1 VRX Nano can switch the HDMI output resolution using the method below, to support 720P resolution goggles.

- P1 firmware V2 is incompatible with the V1 series. Interconnection and mutual pairing are not supported.
- Both the VRX receiver module and VRX Nano receiver module use the P1_GND_VRX firmware.
