Troubleshooting - How to Fix Stalling of Motor on F4 1S Brushless FC

Stalling is a condition at which a motor stops rotating or hard to rotate even when there is sufficient voltage at its terminals. Recently, we noticed that some of our customers came across the stalling of motor on our F4 1S Brushless FC.

Kindly follow the below method to troubleshoot it.

Set the parameter of Betaflight as follows:

• Set Gyro update frequency to 8kHz and PID loop frequency to 2kHz.

• Set ESC / Motor protocol to DSHOT300

• Set startup power to 1.50, Demag Compensation to Low, and Motor Timing to High in ESC Setting.
