Solution A

You can bind your EU-LBT Frsky Radio Controller to the F4 Frsky FC in D8 mode.


1. Flash the Open-TX to FCC firmware

Here is the video of how to flash the Open-TX to FCC firmware


2. In Betaflight Configuration, it should be setted as FRSKY_D receiver (aka Frsky D8 mode) in SPI RX mode.

3. Finally, you can go to the binding procedure

Step 1
Power on the board, either by connecting the battery or USB power. Then the green receiver LED start to flash.

Step 2
Click the bind button for 3s. Then the green receiver LED will be solid on. This means that the receiver is in bind mode and you could start to bind your radio transmitter.

Step 3

Now, on the radio, power on the radio and set the protocol mode to D8 .Then enter the bind status(or what it takes to enter bind status.


Step 4

The green receiver LED on the FC boards should flash slowly. This means that binding is succussful. Then exit the bind status on your radio transmitter and the green receiver LED should be solid. This means the connection is ready.


Solution B

If you want to bind your radio controller in D16, you have to flash both Open-TX firmware and internal module to FCC version.

1. Flash the Open-TX to FCC firmware.


2. Flash your internal module to Non-EU firmware.


3. Finally, you can go to the binding procedure.

Step 1

Click the bind button for 3s. Then the green receiver LED will be solid on. This means that the receiver is in bind mode and you could start to bind your radio transmitter.
